This Chrome extension will make an ad turn green and say "Ad Viewable" once it is recognized as viewable.

Currently it is restricted to ads delivered through DFP, though has some edge cases like inline Adsense and specific header bidding configurations with OpenX that causes the ad to not be detected as viewable. Working on that.

How to Install

  1. Download the zip file from https://github.com/davidrgreen/viewability-highlighter/archive/master.zip and unzip it or git clone this locally: git clone https://github.com/davidrgreen/viewability-highlighter.git
  2. In Google Chrome, open the Extensions page via Window > Extensions in Chrome or entering "chrome://extensions" in the URL bar.
  3. Click the "Developer mode" checkbox in the top-right.
  4. Click "Load unpacked extensions..."
  5. Select the folder holding the extension(the unzipped folder or folder created when you ran git clone).
  6. Click to Enable the extension.
