2026 April Release

This release contains a number of BIGCAT fixes:

• Increase maximum number of spectral windows to 60
• adding az/el variables
• add weather data
• change a fits error to a warning

and a minor change to regrid.
The parameters in maxdim.h are now all configured from the CMakeLists.txt.

2025 October Release

This release contains minor fixes for FITS velocity handling, some output formatting precision and the README file.
Antenna position conversions are now more accurate and command line editing with 'er' works again.

First release of MIRIAD from public CSIRO GitHub repo

This release of the ATNF version of MIRIAD is the first one from the public GitHub location and built using cmake.
It has been tested on MacOS (apple silicon) and Linux (x86_64).

The only changes since the last release are minor documentation updates and a security fix.
