| This has no negative effects\*, but has the positive effect that signed documents can now be validated in both Adobe and the EU DSS validator. | ||

Suggestion:
Starting January 8, 2026, Idura Signatures will switch from AATL to EUTL certificates and timestamping.
This update makes it possible to validate the signed documents in both Adobe and the [EU DSS validator](https://ec.europa.eu/digital-building-blocks/DSS/webapp-demo/validation).
_Please note: users running very old versions of Adobe Reader will have to update their EUTL trust list in the Adobe Reader Trust Manager._
