The class file

This section describes some of the packages included for the document in the class file and gives examples for their usage. A description always starts with the line how the package was included.

\RequirePackage[autostyle]{csquotes}

The Package is used to quote text and it takes care about the right language specific options (spacing, hyphenation patterns, quote characters) for the quoted text if it is used in companion with the "babel" package. Below you find two examples of commands from the "csqoutes" package. To use the second one the language needs to be installed in your LaTeX distribution and loaded in the class file under the options of the babel package. For further information you can have a look into the package documentation.

  • Put text in quotes

\enqoute{text in quotes}

\foreignqoute{language}{text in quotes}

\RequirePackage{xcolor}

The "xcolor" package is required to define colours for your document. Next to some standard colours you can chose from (red, green, blue, etc.) it offers an interface to modify existing and define your own colours. There is a nice article about colour management in LaTeX with the "xcolor" package in "Die TeXnische Komödie" for more detailed information (german).

  • \xdefinecolor{mygraycolor}{gray}{.95}
  • \xdefinecolor{LinkColor}{rgb}{0,0,0.4}
