This Evaluation License governs your use of Corviont Maps (the "Software"), unless you have a separate written agreement with Corviont covering your use of the Software. In that case, the separate agreement governs to the extent of any conflict. By using the Software, you agree to these terms.
Corviont (and its licensors) retain all right, title, and interest in and
to the Software, including all code, configuration files, documentation,
and related materials, except for third-party components listed in the
Corviont Maps third-party notice file (THIRD_PARTY_LICENSES.md) and in
the associated third-party license texts, which are governed by their own
licenses.
Unless you have a separate written agreement with Corviont that grants you broader rights, Corviont grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Software solely for internal evaluation, testing, and demonstration purposes.
You may:
- run the Software on your own devices or infrastructure; and
- allow your employees and contractors to access it for evaluation.
Any other use requires a separate written agreement with Corviont.
Unless expressly permitted in a separate written agreement with Corviont, you may not:
- use the Software to provide a commercial service or product to third parties (including as a hosted SaaS offering or paid internal service);
- redistribute, sublicense, resell, or publicly host the Software, any prebuilt images, or any derived product as your own offering;
- remove, obscure, or alter any copyright notices, attributions, or license notices included with the Software or displayed by it;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
The Software may bundle and/or depend on third-party components and data
that are licensed separately under their respective licenses, as listed in
the Corviont Maps third-party notice file (THIRD_PARTY_LICENSES.md) and
in the associated license texts made available by Corviont (for example,
via the public Corviont licensing repository).
In particular, any included map data and derived databases may be based on OpenStreetMap data and subject to the Open Data Commons Open Database License (ODbL) 1.0. Nothing in this license is intended to limit or alter the rights granted to you by the ODbL or any other third-party license.
If there is any conflict between this license and a third-party license for a specific component, the third-party license will govern that component.
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
You are solely responsible for determining whether the Software is suitable for your intended use and for complying with all legal and regulatory requirements that apply to your use.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, CORVIONT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR BUSINESS, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SOFTWARE, EVEN IF CORVIONT HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
IN NO EVENT SHALL CORVIONT'S AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SOFTWARE EXCEED ONE HUNDRED (100) EUROS, EVEN IF A REMEDY FAILS OF ITS ESSENTIAL PURPOSE.
This license will automatically terminate if you materially breach these terms. Upon termination, you must stop using the Software and destroy any copies under your control, except to the extent retention is required by applicable law or by third-party licenses (such as the ODbL).
Corviont may also discontinue providing demo or evaluation versions of the Software at any time, without obligation to provide updates, support, or continued access.
