- drops pytz (unused), clear out old compat variants in lock - bump pytest BREAKING CHANGE: 3.11+ required
Drop ddt in favour of pytest.mark.parametrize, remove all unittest.TestCase inheritance, replace unittest.mock with pytest-mock fixtures, and convert self.assert* to plain assert. pytest upgraded from 7 to 9.
BREAKING CHANGE: comes with dropping python 3.8-3.10 support
