Windows-Gaming-Performance-Optimizer

A universal lightweight script that will terminate unnecessary Windows services, freeing up RAM and CPU resources. The script acts like a lightweight, terminal-based hub. It is fully configurable and creates a log for full transparency.

What will the script do ?

• Deletes temporary files in Windows
• Stopps Windows Update
• Stopps Windows Defender
• Terminates Windows Explorer
• Stopps multiple Windows services that aren't necessary for Gaming
• Starts an hub from wich u can launch Discord, a Browser, Steam, EA or Epic
• Reverses all chnages made when you are done

All actions can be configured in the "config.ini" file.

Example:

The Scipt will stay active in the background while Any Launcher is running.

After pressing "M" all stopped services will be started again.

How to start with Windows boot-up

1. Press the Windows-Key an search for "Task Scheduler"
2. On the right side, click on "Create Task..."
3. At the bottom, check "Run with highest privileges"
4. Go to "Triggers" (Top)
5. New Trigger
6. Begin Task "At log on"
7. Any user or Specific however you prefer
8. under Advanced Settings (same Window) - delay task for 10 Seconds
9. "OK"
10. Go to "Actions" (Top)
11. New Action
12. Action: Start a program
13. programm/script: C:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe
14. Add arguments: /c "C:\Path\to\Your\location.bat"
15. Done
