To be fair, httpxy is also a good alternative (a modern rewrite of http-proxy), and it even has more weekly downloads than http-proxy-3.

Description
I’m updating to http-proxy-3, since http-proxy is no longer maintained. I haven’t been able to get all the types working correctly yet, but I’m still trying. If you have any ideas on how to fix it, that would be great.
Motivation and Context
I need this for webpack-dev-server. closes #1136
