## Data Privacy <Beta />

The Node.js plugin `@cap-js/data-privacy` provides out-of-the-box integration for CAP applications with the [SAP Data Privacy Integration (DPI)](https://help.sap.com/docs/data-privacy-integration) service.

Based on `@PersonalData` and `@ILM` annotations in your data model, the plugin automatically exposes two endpoints that SAP DPI consumes:

- **`/dpp/information`** — returns personal data for display in the _Manage Personal Data_ app
- **`/dpp/retention`** — handles data blocking and deletion based on retention rules defined in SAP DPI
