◈ Gameplay Guide

WordSeek is an addictive word-guessing game where you find a hidden word within a limited number of attempts. This guide explains the rules, modes, and scoring mechanics.

◈ Basic Rules

  1. Start a Game: Use /new or length-specific commands like /new4, /new5, or /new6.
  2. Make a Guess: Simply send your guess (e.g., POWER) in the chat.
  3. Analyze Feedback: After each guess, the bot provides color-coded hints:
    • 🟩 Green: Correct letter in the correct position.
    • 🟨 Yellow: Correct letter but in the wrong position.
    • 🟥 Red/Gray: Letter is not in the word.
  4. Winning: The game ends when a user correctly guesses the word or the maximum attempts (30 for normal, 6 for daily) are reached.

◈ Game Modes

▪ Normal Game

Available in both private and group chats.

  • 4 Letters: /new4 — Fast-paced and tricky.
  • 5 Letters: /new5 — The classic WordSeek experience (Default).
  • 6 Letters: /new6 — For those seeking a real challenge.

▪ Daily WordSeek

Available in Private Chat only.

  • Use /daily to enter the daily challenge.
  • Global Puzzle: Everyone in the world gets the same word every day.
  • Limited Guesses: You only get 6 attempts to solve the puzzle.
  • Streak System: Solve daily puzzles consecutively to build your win streak.
  • Pause Daily: Use /pausedaily to switch back to normal games.

▪ Multiplayer (Groups)

Competitive play with friends and community members.

  • First to Guess: Any member can participate. The first one to guess the word wins the round.
  • Collaboration vs. Competition: You can see others' guesses and hints, making it a collaborative effort to find the word, but a race to be the winner.

◈ Scoring & Stats

/score: View your personal statistics (wins, games played, current streak).
/leaderboard: View top rankings. You can filter by group or global, and by time periods (today, week, month, all).

◈ Pro Tips

Strong Openers: Start with words that contain many common vowels (A, E, I, O, U) and high-frequency consonants (R, S, T, L, N). Examples: ORATE, STARE, ALIVE.
Elimination: Use the red hints to mentally eliminate letters from the alphabet.
Group Strategy: In group chats, pay close attention to your teammates' guesses to avoid repeating incorrect letters.
