- pure python - it requires lzma and gzip modules for the decompressor, we we need 3.? - cpio dumper is a separate tool. It should be a library method.

Q: Why? We could get this from the rpm source code.
A: Building RPM pulls in too many dependencies.
This is a reference. implementation for now. For real use we can make an llm turn it into Rust or Go so we get a single binary.
