PR Description

Rebased ADA4355 support on top of 2026 release branch.
These additions are from Antoniu Miclaus (@amiclaus) and Ioan-Daniel (@PIoandan). I did not reviewed or made any changes to them.

Hi @marceloschmitt1. I have #3166 to be added to ADA4356 support. I think that one should be added into this.

Hi @ahmetalncak . Sure, I picked that up in my local branch but forgot to update the PR. Actually, later on the same day I opened this PR, I was told the usual development process for these drivers should be: upstream -> backport to main -> backport to release branch (at this particular time when we have a release branch that wasn't officially released yet). Thus, unless requested otherwise, I'll first go through the upstreaming process with ADA4355/ADA4356. Thanks for the heads up anyway.

Better to close this so it doesn't take time from anyone else. Will open a new PR to backport ADA4355/ADA4356 from upstream Linux.
