First Capstone Project

In this first capstone project, I created a page for a made up conference set to occur in October, 2022. With this project I showcase a cloned version of an original Behance design by Cindy Shin, taking inspiration from her use of colors, patterns and layouts

Getting Started

This project is a clone of the original by Cindy Shin on Behance. You can open the live link to view it or you can make a copy to personalize it. To get a local copy up and running follow these simple example steps:

Prerequisites

  • Code editor
  • Install Git
  • Command Line Interface
  • Basic knowledge of HTML CSS and Javascript
  • Web browser

Setup

  • Open your command line and change directory to the destination on your local computer where you want your copy to be stored (You can use the terminal in VS code).
  • Copy this command to your command line or terminal: git clone https://github.com/amon-cofie/first-capstone-project.git
  • Change directory to the repository. You can use this command in the command line: cd first-capstone-project
  • The content of the repository should appear in the your code editor at this point if you are using the inbuilt terminal.
  • You can open the repository from git bash in VS code at this point with the following command: code .

My first capstone project in microverse, a two webpage site for a pretend biomedical engineering conference. Inspiration for this project was obtained from Cindy Shin's behance design of a website for a Creative Commons Summit set to happen in October 2022. Built with HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
