If you like, you can merge my changes into this 14-translations branch for some subsequent release.
Although github says that it can't automatically merge it, so I'm not sure the easiest way to go about it. Maybe just wait until after the 1.0 release and then merge directly into main, would that be easier?
Incidentally, when 1.0 is released, will you officially call it 1.0 or still "1.0 rc1" ?
