The current "n54,w33" looks like 54° North, 33° West!! (Yes, even though on the line it does say 'IDs".)

The intent is laudable, but I suspect that simply replacing the numbers risks keeping a bit of the same ambiguity. Why not adding a relation as well? (And maybe adding spaces after the commas so it doesn't look so much like a unit.)

Yes, what I did still looks like some https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maidenhead_Locator_System, with same length strings etc.
Somebody needs to do a better job. P.S., the majority of ids these days are much longer, but that would eat too much space.
In fact "URL or group of IDs" could be changed to mouseover examples of both.
