I added some code in main.c (plus supporting code in CMakeLists.txt for Pico SDK libraries) to support volume control via a rotary encoder and analog joystick functionality using an ADC (ADS7830). Analog joystick and rotary encoder functionality can be toggled off/on via the macros, ENABLE_JOYSTICK and ENABLE_ROTARY_ENCODER respectively. I completed this for a Capstone project, but I just wanted to see if I would be able to get it merged with the original. I haven't seen any noticeable performance hits from the rotary encoder and analog joystick.
