  • Automatic Check-in

    If the user has application configured to check-in automatically and the user is within range of the space, then the application will automatically check the user in. Additionally if the user has the application configured to check-in automatically and the user has left the range of the space for more than fifteen minutes, then the application will automatically check the user out.

  • Manual Check-in

    If the user is within range determined by GPS, the user can request to check-in to the space.

  • Rollcall

    When the user requests and if the space is open, then the application will be able to show which members have checked into the space. (future features when the space supports it. The application will show people who intend on showing up, and also allow the user to indicate that they intend to show up at a specific time)

  • Read/Write to the LED Sign

    The user should be able to view the latest message on the LED sign (perhaps scrolling in LED sign fashion?) If the user clicks on the message, the user should be prompted to input a new message for the LED sign. Additionally If the user has configured the application to alert on new sign posts, then during the scheduled refresh timer, the background service should check to see if the LED sign is not in the application's cache of the most recent 7 (user configurable?) posts. If the LED sign is new, then alert the user.

  • Background Service to Alert on new blog post

    If the user has configured the application to alert on new blog posts, then during the scheduled refresh timer, the background service should check to see if the latest blog post is not in the application's cache of the most recent 7 (user configurable?) posts. If the blog post is new, then alert the user. Reward: Drink five shots of Tequila in honor of Cinco de Mayo

  • Display Latest Blog Post

    When the user accesses the home screen, it should display the title of the latest blog post with a link to UAS's blog. This link will allow the user to follow it using the browser of their choice. The home screen will also have a link to the UAS twitter, but will not check or update with the latest tweet, instead this is probably best handled by the user's twitter app.
