The issue was that rehash_motd() was calling cache_user_motd() which could cause issues during rehash operations. Fixed by matching the pattern used in rehash_omotd() - directly freeing and reloading the cache file, and updating the timestamp. This ensures consistency and prevents potential bugs when /rehash motd is used.
