Previously, we would require customers to use the exact same version for the Android SDK and the Android connectors. This meant that we would need to publish a new version of all connectors on every SDK release, even though nothing about the connectors themselves had changed.
This relaxes that restriction: only the major version needs to match. For example, version 10.13.0 of the Conviva connector will be compatible with any THEOplayer Android SDK 10.x version starting from 10.2.0. (We were already doing this for the web connectors.)
This also means that we no longer need to publish a new version on every SDK release. We will keep doing it for now, but we should stop doing this starting with version 11.0.
