I am a Game Development Graduate currently expanding my engineering toolkit as a Full Stack Engineer at NCSU's Machado Lab. After finishing my studies in Simulation and Game Development, I’ve jumped into the world of enterprise web development, applying my programming foundations to build tools for research and data management.
Current Professional Growth at NCSU:
- Role: Full Stack Engineer working with Java, Spring Boot, and Angular.
- Learning Path: Currently diving deep into Docker, Keycloak, SQL, and TypeScript.
- Work Account: You can find my professional contributions and lab projects over at @WM-NCSUWork.
What I Do as a Game Developer:
- Craft immersive game experiences in Unity 5 & 6, of which my work can be found in 2 major projects.
- Develop robust systems with C# for interconnectability while minding design constraints and scope.
- Explore VR development and exploration along with performance optimizations for the CPU & Memory for various device constraints.
Technologies & Tools I use:
- Full Stack
- Game Development
- General
I'm currently looking for:
- New opportunities in game development roles.
- Collaborations on interesting game dev projects, with a focus in VR when available.
- Opportunities to learn from and contribute to the programming community.
In my spare time, I enjoy:
- VR Gaming
- Leatherwork
- 3D Printing
- Homelabbing (I use CasaOS but plan to swap to Docker in the future)
