Bluik is a Blender importer for Open Cel Animation (.oca) documents, targeting a Krita → Blender → game/VFX pipeline using Duik 2D conventions.
This fork significantly improves reliability and correctness of OCA imports compared to upstream 0.7.5, with a focus on blend modes, clone layers, and animated frame handling.
-Basic layer blend mode support (normal, add, luminosity, multiply)
-Clone layers supported with shared mesh data and object based materials for individual control
-Fixed cropped / trimmed animated frames via transform keying, plays at correct size.
-Fixed document resolution and camera orthographic scale not working in certain documents.
-Expanded .OCA import control options
-Go to releases and get latest zip file. (Don't unzip)
-Edit/Preferences/Extensions.
-Top right arrow, 'Install from disk'.
-Select the zip file and hit enter. Done.
OCA/Krita blend modes are mapped to a stable compatibility subset:
| OCA Blend Mode | Blender Output |
|---|---|
| normal | normal |
| add / screen | add |
| multiply | multiply |
| dodge / glow | luminosity (approximate) |
Unsupported or incompatible modes are warned and safely fall back to normal.
-Automatic version updates were removed to comply with Standard Blender Extension practice.
-Updated from old blender addon structure to include blender manifest to store addon details.
This release represents a major functional improvement over 0.7.5. Therefore, first release to follow this is named; 0.8.0
GPL-3.0
