As mentioned in #2125
you don't need to write script for implementing regex for catalog variable.
This is configurable using https://www.servicenow.com/docs/bundle/zurich-servicenow-platform/page/product/service-catalog-management/task/define-regex-vrble.html.

also we already have a phone number & email validation scripts in the code snippets.

I will be closing this PR. Please make changes with a new use case and reopen or you can submit a new PR with unique contribution.
