Rebrand docs as SergeCode and codify permanent hard-fork policy#3
Merged
Conversation
SergeCode is a permanent, independent hard fork of pingdotgg/t3code and will never be re-merged upstream. Codify that in AGENTS.md (which CLAUDE.md symlinks to) with an explicit rule that agents must never open PRs against, push to, or otherwise touch the upstream repository — all git/gh operations target SergeSerb2/SergeCode only. Rebrand README, CONTRIBUTING, and docs/ prose from "T3 Code" to "SergeCode". Functional identifiers (t3code:// protocol, package names, bundle ids, relay filters) are intentionally untouched since they match the code. README now documents running from source and notes that upstream distribution channels (npx t3, winget, brew, AUR) ship upstream T3 Code, not this fork. ℹ️ About Codex in GitHub
Your team has set up Codex to review pull requests in this repo. Reviews are triggered when you
- Open a pull request for review
- Mark a draft as ready
- Comment "@codex review".
If Codex has suggestions, it will comment; otherwise it will react with 👍.
Codex can also answer questions or update the PR. Try commenting "@codex address that feedback".
- remote-access.md: replace `npx t3 serve` examples with run-from-source invocation (`node apps/server/src/bin.ts serve`); npx ships upstream T3 Code, not this fork. - t3-connect-clerk.md: restore `T3 Code (Alpha).app` bundle paths — desktop packaging still uses the upstream productName, so the SergeCode paths did not exist on disk. Added a note explaining why. Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
