CS grad student at UC Santa Cruz · builder · writer · dog mom to a very opinionated min pin
Writing my first mathematical proof felt like coming home. A Classicist and an MBA walking into a CS program sounds like a setup to a joke, but the moment I put Cicero next to formal argument and Roman law next to logic, it clicked. The discipline was always the same. It was just wearing different clothes. My path looks like an undirected graph. The edges run both ways. CS grad student at UCSC, working with AI intentionally and well.
- Primary: Java
- Also worked in: JavaScript, R, R Shiny, x86/8086 Assembly
- Tools: VS Code, Windsurf, EMU8086, Git, draw.io, R (statistical computing)
Prompting and AI collaboration are real skills, and I've put serious time into developing them. I use LLMs as research partners, debugging aids, and creative collaborators. I know how to get precise, useful output and how to critically evaluate what comes back.
Java Collaborative Working App
A full online food delivery system built collaboratively in Java, covering order management, delivery logic, and user flows from end to end. Includes a working app version on GitHub.
Assembly Collaborative
A fully functional 4-way smart traffic light controller in 8086 Assembly with state machine design in draw.io. Built collaboratively with branching, PRs, and a full GitHub-based workflow.
JavaScript Personal
A custom health tracking app built for my mom. Practical, personal, and the project that made JavaScript feel real.
R R Shiny Academic
Statistical analysis and interactive data visualization built with R and R Shiny at CalPoly, where I learned that good data tells a story even before you write one.
I write horror short stories rooted in fairy tale tradition. Not the softened versions. The old ones, where consequences are real and the edge cases land you in an oven. Turns out the Brothers Grimm understood error handling better than most modern developers. Also: hiking with my min pin Rhooba, baking with more technique than is probably necessary, and barre class to balance out the desk time.
