Summary

  • Replace the old long README with a concise description of the implemented deterministic replay-validation scope
  • Document the actual Agent/MCP replay surfaces, evidence/failure-label helpers, committed artifacts, and KVTC-V7 prototype
  • Preserve README-published artifact snapshot values required by the existing drift tests
  • Clarify non-claims: no embeddings, no vector DB, no LLM judges, no external APIs in validation, no production/enterprise/certification claim

Validation

  • npm run layout
  • pytest -q

Scope

README-only documentation change. No code, test, fixture, artifact, dashboard, or package changes.

Code Review

This pull request significantly refactors the README.md to provide a more concise and focused overview of the CompText V7 prototype. It removes several detailed diagrams, workflow descriptions, and redundant tables, replacing them with streamlined sections on implementation surfaces, claims, and limitations. One review comment identifies a redundant metric entry in the artifact snapshot table that should be removed to improve clarity.

Resolved the README artifact snapshot review comment in commit ecbee03 by removing the duplicate Agent replay consistency row. The inline thread is now resolved.
