- Update renderer.md to document new 2bpp and 4bpp drawTileMap overloads
- Refactor tilemap.md to describe generic TileMapGeneric<T> template
- Update tilemaps.md tutorial with multi-bpp examples
- Add engine_improvement_plan.md detailing the implementation strategy
Add comprehensive documentation for the new Tilemap Editor tool, including overview, installation, and usage guide. Update navigation and available tools page to include the editor. Regenerate sitemap to include new documentation pages.
The plan outlined in the document has been implemented or superseded. Removing it prevents confusion and keeps the repository focused on current code and documentation.
Update Sprite Compiler installation instructions to reflect Python-based tool instead of Node.js. Add consistent markdown formatting and improve clarity across all tool documentation files.

- Replace advanced features with automatic palette detection explanation
- Update examples to show new naming pattern (PREFIX_SPRITE_N_...)
- Clarify export modes and remove outdated dithering/packing sections
The tilemap editor tool is not yet ready for public documentation. Comment out
the relevant sections in both the tools listing and navigation configuration
to prevent confusion while development continues.
Replace the primary logo with an updated version (logo_v2.png) and refresh the favicon.ico. The mkdocs.yml configuration is updated to reference the new logo file.
