Code of Conduct – Open Agentic 2.0

Open Agentic 2.0 is an audit-first, community-driven project.
We want this space to be safe, respectful, and welcoming for everyone.

This Code of Conduct applies to:

• this repository (issues, pull requests, discussions),
• any community spaces linked from this project (for example chat, forums),
• all interactions under the Open Agentic name.

• Be respectful – disagree with ideas, not with people.
• Be constructive – focus on improving the project.
• Be honest – no fake results, no falsified benchmarks, no hidden agendas.
• Be inclusive – this project is for people from all backgrounds.

You don’t have to be perfect. You do have to be respectful.

Unacceptable behaviour

The following behaviour is not welcome in this project:

• Insults, personal attacks, or deliberate provocation.
• Hate speech or discrimination, including against (for example) race, gender, religion, disability, nationality, or sexual orientation.
• Harassment, stalking, or repeated unwanted contact.
• Sexualised language or imagery.
• Excessive swearing, slurs, or name-calling.
• Publishing other people’s private information (“doxing”) without consent.
• Threats of violence, self-harm, or harm to others.
• Spam, advertising, or promotion unrelated to Open Agentic 2.0.
• Any behaviour that makes others feel unsafe or unwelcome.

If you are asked to stop a certain behaviour, stop immediately.

Expected behaviour

When you participate in this project, please:

• Use clear and polite language in issues, PRs, and discussions.
• Assume good intent, but do not ignore harmful impact.
• Accept constructive feedback; everyone is learning.
• Respect project decisions made by maintainers.
• Give credit where it is due (citations, links, co-authors).

Reporting problems

If you experience or witness behaviour that breaks this Code of Conduct:

1. You may open a private or minimal-detail issue describing the problem, or

2. Contact the maintainer directly via GitHub:

Please include:

• a short description of what happened,
• where it happened (issue, PR, discussion, etc.),
• links or screenshots if you feel safe sharing them.

We will review the report as soon as we reasonably can.

Possible actions

Maintainers may take one or more of these actions:

• A private or public warning.
• Asking someone to edit or remove problematic comments.
• Locking an issue, PR, or discussion.
• Temporary or permanent ban from participation in this project.
• Removing contributions that clearly violate this Code.

Very serious or repeated violations may result in immediate bans.

• Discussions, Issues, and Pull Requests,
• any community channels officially linked from this repo.
