GoodMem integration for Agent Framework: persistent semantic memory for agentic AI applications.

This fork adds the GoodMem memory infrastructure to Agent Framework to allow AI agents to reliably and efficiently reason over short-term and long-term memories.

This powers everything in between chat agents and multi agent workflows.

Overview

GoodMem is a context platform for AI agents. It enables efficient storage, retrieval, updates, and semantic searches of agentic "memories".

AutoGen is a framework for creating multi-agent AI applications that can act autonomously or work alongside humans.

Initialize GoodMem Γ— Agent Framework

  • Initialize GoodMem (if not done already)
  • curl -s "https://get.goodmem.ai" | bash
  • Set an embedder id in GoodMem: quickstart doc
  • install dependencies:
python3 -m venv venv
source venv/bin/activate
pip install -e ./python/packages/goodmem
  • Write your own agents and reference GoodMem's functions for easy memory storage, access, and reasoning.
