FSR3.0 Mod Setup Utility

Overview

This update improves the Update system, adds DLSS 4.5 as an optional addon, updates the guide with new information, and fixes a mod visibility issue.

Fixes & Improvements

• Update System

• Improved the Update feature, which previously only checked for Utility version updates and now allows downloading individual mod updates directly through the Utility without downloading the full .rar package
• When opening the Utility, a mod update check is performed and, if updates are available, a purple Update button appears showing which mods will be updated when hovering over it
• An orange Update button indicates a new Utility version, and mod updates are disabled until the Utility is updated to the latest version

• Upscalers

• Added DLSS 4.5 to the Addons section as an optional addon
• Mods still use DLSS 4 by default, as DLSS 4.5 may cause significant FPS loss on RTX 2000 and 3000 series GPUs
• DLSS 4.5 can be enabled in the Addons tab for compatible mods or updated directly through the Nvidia App

• Guide Update

• Updated the "Initial Informations" guide with new information related to DLSS 4.5
• Reading the guides before installing any mod is recommended

• Assassin's Creed Valhalla

• The antivirus may trigger a false positive for the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla mods. If this happens, the Update button will appear again on the next Utility launch so the mod can be re-downloaded, but the antivirus may continue removing it.

• Bug Fix

• Fixed an issue where the RDR2 Mix mod was not appearing in the Mods tab

• Core Mods

• Fixed an issue where the Frame Generation enable option was missing from the FSR4/DLSS FG (Only Optiscaler) mod menu for certain games
• Fixed an issue where the in-game DLSSG enable option for the FSR4/DLSSG FG (Only Optiscaler) mod did not appear for some non-RTX users

• Addons

• Fixed an installation issue where upscalers were installed to the wrong directory when using a custom destination path on games with preset paths (e.g. Control)

• GTA Trilogy

• Fixed a critical issue that caused the game to crash when using any mod

• Guide Update

• The "Initial Information" guide has been updated
• Reading the guides before installing any mod is recommended

FSR3.0 Mod Setup Utility

Overview

This update delivers a fully refactored Utility with a redesigned UI, streamlined features, improved installation flow, and support for the latest upscalers.

• Deprecated mods removed (e.g., Uniscaler, 0.10x)

• Improved Installation Experience

• Progress bar added for both installation and cleanup
• Updated "Addons" section: now supports all latest upscalers (FSR4, DLSS4, XeSS 2.1.1)
• Frame Generation files are automatically installed together with FSR4/XeSS
• DLSS Overlay moved to a checkbox instead of prompting each install (RTX only)

• Smart Path Detection

• Some games now auto-detect the correct upscaler path (similar to Utility Enhanced)
• A custom path can still be selected
• When no path is found/selected, the default install path is used

• Version Notification

• The Utility now alerts you when a new version is available

• UI/Scaling Fixes

• Fixed a bug where the window became blurry or overly expanded on certain resolutions and DPI scales (150%+)

• New OptiScaler Build

• Added OptiScaler v0.9.0-pre5 Test Build
• Installation method has changed — checking the guide before installing is recommended
