Preparing for the Workshop

Please note that you will need a laptop on which you have administrator privileges in order to complete this workshop.

  1. Create a GitHub account.
  2. Install the appropriate version of Git for your operating system.
  3. Install Node.js Latest 8.10.0.
    • you'll get NPM with this
  4. Make sure you have a text editor installed for writing code. Some of our favorites include Sublime Text (Mac) and NotePad++ (Windows).
