I'm currently pursuing my Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with an emphasis in Cybersecurity at the University of Missouri–St. Louis (UMSL). My goal is to build a career protecting systems, data, and people from evolving cyber threats while continuing to grow my skills in software development, security analysis, and risk management.
Before transitioning into tech, I spent more than 25 years in the transportation and logistics industry, including owning and operating a trucking company. That experience taught me leadership, problem-solving, risk assessment, and how to make critical decisions under pressure—skills that continue to serve me well in cybersecurity and technology.
I'm currently completing a Data Analyst training program with Cigna Group, where I'm gaining hands-on experience working with data, reporting, analytics, and business processes while strengthening my technical and professional skills.
