Server Client Features

These features require the mod to be installed on both the client and the server to work. This does not apply to single player as the mod is always on the client and server, so these effects will always be present.

Bee Hive Zs Beehives and Nests will emit sleeping Zs. This can be seen in the Buzzy Bees Update trailer Bee Hive Zs
Mob Fall Dust Clouds A mob taking damage from hitting the ground will cause a dust cloud. The size of the dust cloud is based on how high the mob fell from Mob Fall Dust Clouds
Mob Running Dust Clouds When certain mobs are running they will create a cloud of dust that follows them. Currently this only affects Ravagers, Goats and Hoglin. This is visible in the Village and Pillage update trailer Mob Movement Dust Clouds
Leaves Decay Destroy Effects When leaves decay/despawn the block break sound and particles will play Leaves Decay Destroy Effects
Farm Land Destroy Effects When farmland gets trampled or dries out into dirt the block break sound and particles will play Farm Land Destroy Effects
Experience Orb Particles When an experience bottle is broken little experience orbs appear, these are much smaller than normal experience orbs and replace the vanilla splash potion effect used for experience bottles Experience Particles



Client Features

These are effects that will work anywhere as they don't require the server.

Sleeping Zs When a mob is sleeping it will spawn Z particles that float up. In vanilla, this includes players, villagers, and foxes, but cats and bats have also been included. Bats have a special variation of this effect that causes the Zs to fall rather than float because they hang upside down Sleeping Zs

Player Running Dust Clouds When a player is running they will spawn a cloud of dust behind them. This is different from Mob Running Dust Clouds in that it doesn't need server access to check the player's speed Player Running Dust Clouds
Player Elytra Collision A player that hits a wall while using elytra will cause a cloud of dust to appear Elytra
Player Mace attack Landing a mace attack will spawn a dust cloud. This effect is only visible if you are the one to preform the attack as it requires server access to work for other players (Screenshot coming soon)
Sparks Sparks are little glowing dots that float up from certain blocks. These blocks include Campfires, Torches, Candles, Candle Cakes, Furnaces, and Fire. In the case of Campfires, this replaces the vanilla lava sparks effect Sparks
Lantern Sparks Lantern sparks are different from normal sparks in that they float more out than up Lantern Sparks
Lava Sparks Lava sparks are similar to lantern sparks in that they don't float up much, but they do move around a lot Lava Sparks
Anvil Sparks When using an anvil sparks will fly off. This looks a lot cool in game then in this screenshot Anvil Sparks
Grindstone Sparks Using a grindstone will cause sparks to fly off in the direction the grindstone is facing This looks a lot cool in game then in this screenshot Grindstone Sparks
Minecart Sparks Minecart sparks happen when a minecart lands on rails and will continue to spawn for a couple seconds after landing Minecart Sparks
Smoke This replaces many of the usages of the vanilla gray and black smoke particles with a fresh modern campfire styled smoke texture Torch Smoke
Steam Steam much like smoke also replaces some of the usages of the vanilla smoke particles such as when drying out sponges or forming cobblestone in a cobblestone generator. Steam can also, when enabled, spawn above water at high light levels or, if configured, specifically near lava Steam

Boiling Bubbles Disabled by default, water at high light levels will spawn bubbles as if its boiling. Using the same config as steam this can be configured to spawn only around lava Boiling Water
Item Rarity Dots Items on the ground with spawn glowing dots around them that quickly float up. This can be useful for finding dropped items or just to add a little extra flair to them. Additionally these dots are colored to match the item's name color or rarity color Item Rarity Dots
Glowstone/Redstone Dust Little puffs of dust that come off glowstone/redstone blocks, making them appear less refined Glowstone Dust
Chicken Feathers When a chicken is hit a poof of features appears Chicken Feathers

Allay Magic Wisps of the allays magic that float up from it, giving loads life to the little creatures Allay Magic
Vex Magic Much like the allay magic they float up from the vex and will turn red when the vex is charging in for an attack Vex Magic
Amethyst Sparkles Little sparkles that float off of some amethyst blocks, giving a lot of life to geodes Amethyst Sparkles
Sheep Fluff Happens when a sheep is sheared. Meant to look like bits of wool flying off and is colored to match the sheep's fleece Sheep Fluff
Mushroom Spores Little dots that fly through the air of mushroom biomes Mushroom Spores
Command Block Dots Inspired by Minecraft Story Mode, only to later realize that they don't actually exist in Story Mode, these little glowing dots spawn around command blocks and get pulled to the center. This effect is also applied to Command Block Minecarts Command Block Dots
Beacon Dots Little dots that float up from the center of an activated beacon. They are also colored to match the beam color, though this can be disabled in the config Beacon Dots
Compost Compost textured destroy particles appear when putting items in a composter (The green stars are in vanilla) Compost
Log Stripping Stripping a log causes break particles to spawn around the log Log Stripping
Pumpkin Carving Carving a pumpkin causes break particles to spawn around the pumpkin Pumpkin Carving
Bonemeal bits Using bonemeal spawns bonemeal item particles around the bonemealed area Bonemeal Bits
End Portal Dots Colorful blue and green dot particles that get pulled through the portal. This effect happens for both End Portals and End Gateways End Portal Dots

Azalea Petals Flowers float down from flowering azalea leaves much like cherry blossom leaves Azalea Petals
Snow Golem Snow Flakes When a snow golem is hit snow flakes will fly off Snow Golem Snow Flakes
Snowball Trail Snowballs have a small trail of snow flakes when thrown Snowball Trail
Enderpearl/Dragon Fireball Trail Enderpearls and Dragon Fireballs have a trail of Ender Magic Enderpearl Trail
Fireflies At night fireflies spawn in swamps, mangrove swamps or around flowers they can also be configured to spawn around grass as well. Fireflies can only spawn at night in block light levels less than 6, it also can't be raining, but needs to be warm enough to rain, so no snowy biomes Fireflies in a swamp

Slime Trail Slimes leave a trail of slime behind them that gradually fades away. The size of the trail is scaled to match the slime and will take longer to fade the larger it is. This effect is also applied to magma cubes Slime Trail

Frosty Breath When in a cold biome with a block light level below 10 players and other humanoids* will occasionally create a puff of steam in front of their face. Dripping Resin Similar to Crying Obsidian, activated Creaking Hearts drip resin that slides down the side of the block Dripping Resin
