People will not invest much time in writing verily for a one-off test chip. We tried in several crowdfunded attempts at CCC.
If they buy one, the just want a flip chip on a pcb with pins to all its i/o and power and hook it up to an USB, Raspberry Pico 2 or Raspberry. Arduino’s or ESP32s are already to much work for most.
It’s just hobby tinkering.

Good idea, I was just not sure how useful a standalone chip would be. My idea was the dev board would be enough of a development platform for most people.

This is a general inquiry to find how many people are interested in a dev board for the Aegis Terra 1 chip. We have no ETA for a timeline at this point.
