As described in the documentation, any external identity providers are supported that make use of OIDC.
In the article, only Google Identity and GitHub (both SaaS products) are described. I tried to integrate Keycloak as a self-hosted OIDC solution and it worked. This PR contains some findings I encountered while getting Keycloak working.
