How to use
Firstly to customise your macropad, Open Macropad Controller from Spretech's Website.
After you've opened it, it should look something like this :
If you haven't connected your macropad yet, The header of the app will say "Not Connected".
It will change to "Connected" a few seconds after you connect your macropad and will look something like this:
Clicking on any one of the keys will update the right tab with features that you can use.
Let us now learn about each of the features.
App - It lets you customise your keys to launch an app when pressed.
Upon clicking the app button, the software will look like this:
To add an app click on the "Folder" button. This will take you to a folder, where you will have to keep your respective app shortcuts which you want to open.
I have added Google-Chrome. Next close the folder. Then the UI will update as shown:
You can then select the app and click confirm.
This will then update your main key layout as follows:
Print - Upon pressing a key with print function, it will print whatever text has been given to that respective key.
Click on the print button to continue with print function. Your UI should look like this:
Then type whatever you want your key to print. It can be anything from a letter to a large password!
Then print confirm. Your main UI should update to something like this:
Combo - When pressing a key with combo function, it will execute that respective combo which the user has selected. Lets say a key has "Ctrl+C" as combo, when pressed the key will copy any text that has been selected.
To continue click on the Combo key to update the UI:
Then click on the input field and press on your keyboard the respective combo keys that you want to register, It can be multiple at a time.
Then hit confirm to continue

If you want to have more than just 9 keys and utilize the 10th key i.e the layer key, use the layers feature. It allows your macropad to have upto 81 functions!
To access the layers click on the top right dropdown box called "Layers", it will introduce to 9 different layers which you can customise.
Finally to save the layout, Click on the "Save to macropad" button beside "Connected" status.
Voila! Your Macropad is set!
