Echo-mesh is a Dalamud plugin for FINAL FANTASY XIV that lets friends see one another’s full, modded appearance exactly as intended. It does this by automatically transferring the required data (models, textures, Glamourer designs, etc.) between clients through one or more lightweight sync servers, no manual file exchange needed. Unlike earlier single-server tools, Echo-mesh can maintain multiple simultaneous server connections, so you can keep different social circles, venues, or events separate while still enjoying real-time appearance sharing. At a later date, Echo-mesh will also support different kinds of hosted services, giving players greater flexibility in how they connect, manage, and share appearances across a variety of communities.
- Real-time cosmetic sync for Penumbra mods, Glamourer designs, custom animations and more! Visible the moment characters load on screen.
- Multiserver support: connect to several sync hubs at once.
- Selective sharing: only users you approve receive your data; everyone else sees your normal game client.
- Encrypted transport with optional custom headers for private or self-hosted servers.
- Minimal performance impact thanks to delta compression and on-demand transfers.
- Fully open-source and extensible under the MIT licence.
- XIVLauncher with Dalamud enabled.
- Penumbra (local mod management).
- Glamourer (outfit and appearance definitions).
- Open Dalamud’s Plugin Installer.
