### API Environments

Kalshi provides two distinct environments for trading. Ensure you are using the correct URLs for your needs:

| Environment | Purpose | URL |
|:---|:---|:---|
| **Demo** | Testing & Development | `https://demo-api.kalshi.co/trade-api/v2` |
| **Live** | Real Trading | `https://trading-api.kalshi.co/trade-api/v2` |

> **Note:** API keys and credentials are not shared between Demo and Live environments.
