Releases: I-794/SnapShot-Pro
SnapShot-Pro v3
SnapShot-Pro v3.0
Major feature release — annotations, device frames, privacy tools, and more.
What's New
Annotation tools
Draw arrows, rectangles, circles, and numbered callouts directly on your screenshot. Switch tools from the floating toolbar above the canvas. Annotations can be selected, dragged, and deleted individually. Color and stroke weight are adjustable per session.
Device and browser frames
Wrap your screenshot in a realistic macOS window, Windows title bar, iPhone 15 bezel (with Dynamic Island), or browser chrome — Chrome, Safari, and Firefox. Frames come in dark and light variants. Browser frames accept a custom URL; desktop frames accept a window title.
Privacy tools: redaction and spotlight
Use the Redact tool to draw censorship boxes anywhere on the image — choose between pixelate and blur styles with adjustable intensity. The Spotlight tool dims everything outside a drawn region to focus the viewer's attention. Both are drawn directly on the canvas and are fully undoable.
SVG input support
Paste raw SVG code and render it directly onto the canvas — no file needed. Click the </> SVG Code button in the upload section, paste your markup, and hit Render SVG. Useful for icons, diagrams, and code-generated graphics.
Improvements
Transparent background export
A new Transparent mode joins Gradient and Solid in the background tab. The canvas shows a checkerboard preview; exported PNGs carry a real alpha channel with no background baked in.
Undo / redo history
Full multi-step undo and redo now covers all operations — filters, transforms, annotations, redactions, gradient presets, device frame changes, and canvas resizes. Up to 50 steps are stored per session. The header buttons and Ctrl+Z / Ctrl+Y keyboard shortcuts both trigger history.
HTML card export and clipboard copy
Two new export actions: Copy to Clipboard writes a PNG directly to the system clipboard (no save dialog), and Export as HTML Card wraps the canvas output in a self-contained HTML file suitable for sharing or embedding.
Light / dark theme toggle
The app theme can now be toggled between dark and light from the header. Your preference is saved to localStorage and restored on the next session.
