About the PR

Ports the extended 5 pipe layers from ss14Starlight/space-station-14#2997

Why / Balance

Three layers is quite cramped for any serious atmos work -- I had to redo my entire ship atmos just to fit a nuclear reactor in (not possible with 3; you need Distro/Waste/Hot/Cold).

Technical details

Chunks of piping code rewritten.
Goob inline gas filter swapped to SL version.

How to test

Build pipes in the new layers.
Screwdriver devices to them.

That is a skill issue, back in my days we built frezon cook on one layer using monolith's class A.

but for real, thats probably useful, though personally i think it simplifies piping a bit too much.

for more efficient atmos set ups, cooking gases in pipes, crazy atmosian stuff.

The reason for Starlight to implement 5 layers was due to their addition of Automated Chems / Piping chemicals through pipes. 3 was perfectly fine when it was just Atmos using the grids..

On one hand, more pipes! On the other hand, making big systems without accidentally flicking to secondary/tertiary positions were already frustrating to do (as a blind girl) and this is totally going to exacerbate that problem! So I'm at most neutral about it.

Honestly the big limitation to atmos systems aren't the options of pipe layers, it's being unable to place certain devices in the same space as others (IE: Can't place gas pumps either crossing or parallel to each other in the same tile)

This right here.
EagleRock's TEG hot loop and burn mix have three gas pumps running parallel on the same tile.
So if you unanchor them for any reason (such as putting in volumetric pumps), they cannot be re-anchored, and you have to remove additional piping to be able to anchor them again.

yeah 3 pump/etc layers would be far better imo
