Welcome to the GISIS Tools for Seismic Processing Wiki!
The main goal of this project is to help undergraduate geophysics students at Universidade Federal Fluminense to develop and consolidate their programming skills. To achieve that, a seismic processing toolbox is being developed, which will include simple codes for visualizing, filtering, sorting and stacking seismic data. If these codes are useful for your studies or research, feel free to use them! A brief tutorial will be presented to help you use the developed scripts in order to obtain the best possible results from your data.
In the examples repository you will find scripts that will help you adjust the header of your data in order to take full advantage of the codes in this toolbox. The scripts were developed for two seismic data sets obtained from the Open data page on the SEG Wiki and should be adapted to your data. The toolbox repository contains scripts organized in the form of libraries, which contain functions for visualizing, filtering, sorting and stacking. These libraries and functions, which will be briefly discussed, should be organized in your own script or scripts, so that they help you achieve your goals during and at the end of processing.
