Replaces the minimal BaseReader stub with a properly structured MultiFormatReader subclass that shows the full canonical plugin pattern: extension dispatch, ELN file handling, config-file token callbacks, setup_template, and post_process hooks. New plugins generated from this template will have working ELN and config-file support out of the box, with clear extension points for each pipeline stage.

This is a branch specific for the BESSY datathon. Once that is done, we'll adjust it to be mergeable back to main.
