History of EasyApp
The original idea for EasyApp was created when its founders, Anthony and Samir, were conversing about job applications. Anthony complained about having to fill out so many job applications and how time consuming it was, to which Samir suggested that he use AI to complete the task. Upon inspection, they found that "using AI" was not as simple as they thought.
They instead decided to create their own chrome extension for the task, and quickly realized that it would be a hefty project. It was at this point that the two decided to pitch it as an RCOS project, recruiting a total of 10 people to help create, test and implement the chrome extension.
When designing the logo for EasyApp, Samir took inspiration from HTML brackets, and replaced the central slash with a pencil to represent the "writing" being done for users by the extension. It also sports the name of the extension under the HTML brackets, with the "S" being drawn by the pencil above.
