• refactored the code to the latest version
• constrained @renovate-bot to bump git.sr.ht/~nelsam/hel/v4 only to versions less than v1. Very likely, a bug by @renovate-bot attempting to bump to a retracted version.

PS. I'm not fond of mocking; they bypass the implicit behaviour of the real implementations. We should eliminate mocking where possible.
