AI governance — specifically the gap between how autonomous AI agents are being deployed and the governance infrastructure that doesn't yet exist for them. Most governance frameworks were built for AI that advises. I'm interested in AI that acts: agents that initiate transactions, call APIs, and take consequential actions at machine speed without a human in the loop at the point of execution.
That interest runs across three tracks simultaneously:
Building — Valkurai, a financial firewall for autonomous AI agents. Every agent transaction through three gates: identity, policy, and intent. Before a single cent moves.
Contributing — OWASP AI Exchange and AISVS, where I'm contributing practitioner requirements around agentic agent identity, pre-execution policy enforcement, and audit trail standards for financial contexts. Also engaging with Standards Australia's IT-043 AI mirror committee ahead of the SC 42 Sydney Plenary in October 2026.
Writing — A public series on what AI governance actually looks like for autonomous systems in high-risk environments. Not the theory. The architecture underneath it.
