Goal
To switch the NodeJS package manager from
npmtopnpm.pnpmis faster and avoids duplicating dependencies innode_modulesthrough the use of symlinks.For this repo, I can observe anecdotally that it does seem to make a modest improvement in terms of install speed, and it brought the
node_modules/folder size down about 20mb. Not a huge win for this repo (pnpmshines when applied to monorepos), but I don't see a reason not to use it.
