Big Projects Watch

Big Projects Watch's goal is to support the civic oversight of big - often publicly funded - projects by providing a way to frame the complex structure of a project and model its particpants, central parts of the projects, main events and the interconnections between these entities.

TableStacker

LATimes uses TableStacker to publish spreadsheets as interactive tables. Convert a CSV file into an interactive HTML table that sorts, filters and paginates.

OpenElm

The Open Elm Project is a public crowdsourcing initiative to collect data on the Elm tree population of the Isle of Man and help track and tackle increasing outbreaks of Dutch Elm Disease. The Island is one of the few places left in the UK which have a healthy population (unlike England which lost 23 million trees between 1960 and 1988)

LoCast

LoCast is designed to enable the rapid prototyping and quick deployment of location-based media platforms. It is an open-source project composed of two primary components, a Web application (GeoDjango) and an Android application which act in unison to provide a platform that can be tailored to fit various user experiences.

• FROIDE is a Freedom Of Information Portal written in Python using Django 1.5. It is used by the German and the Austrian FOI site, but it is fully internationalized and written in English.
