Version 3.1

BrainBot Version 3.1 introduces all-new and exciting changes not just the user, but also on our (the developers) end.

What's New?

- New Category

We have decided to expand BrainBot in v3.1 with not just server management features, but also server member features. We are pleased to introduce... BrainBot's Mini Games System! Mini Games currently include: guess the number and memory, but we will expand this even more as newer versions are released.

- Removed /screenshot

Due to a massive amount of bugs with this command & the API allowing NSFW websites, we have removed /screenshot from the bot.

- Converted /ban [add/remove] into 2 different commands

Due to the confusion by these names, /ban [add/remove] has been converted into/ban and /un-ban

- Converted /timeout [add/remove] into 2 different commands

Due to the confusion by these names, /timeout [add/remove] has been converted into /timeout and /remove-timeout

- Converted /warn [add/remove/list] into 3 different commands

Due to the confusion by these names, /warn [add/remove/list] has been converted into /warn, /remove-warn and /list-warnings

- /list-warnings Update

Now, /list-warnings is a paginating embed with 2 warnings per page

- Economy is Back!

We have improved economy and have tested it for any possible bug. Economy should now be working just fine!

- Removed Account Locking (Economy)

Users can no longer lock their account to prevent robbing. Now, every user will have a 50/50 chance of getting robbed.

- Welcome & Goodbye Message + Welcome Card Update

Now, users must type their welcome and goodbye messages inside a modal, instead of sending it in your text channel. Along with the Welcome Card Message

- Converted /afk into sub commands

Due to the confusion by these names, /afk has been converted into /afk enable and /afk disable

- Made /welcome [enable/disable/card] 2 different commands

Due to the confusion by these names, /welcome [enable/disable/card] have now become /welcome [enable/disable] and /welcome-card [enable/disable]

- ChatBot is back! And better than ever!

Many of you really liked ChatBot. Therefore, we've made some improvements and upgraded ChatBot with a new API. It's now better than ever!

- New weekly command

/weekly allows you to get a certain amount a coins per week (PREMIUM ONLY)

- New monthly command

/monthly allows you to get a certain amount a coins per month (PREMIUM ONLY)

- NEW URL SHRINKER!

With the new URL Shrinker, users are able to shrink their URL, with premium users being able to add or customize their very own VANITY URL!

Version 3.0

Version 3 of BrainBot was not focused on commands, it was focused on customization and features. This does not mean we did not add any commands. Some changes are not listed as they are very minor

What's New?

- Logging System! (V3 Section 2)

Configure BrainBot's Logging system in your server! The logging system logs whenever something updates in your server! Some examples are:
- Channel Creation
- Channel Deletion
- Role Creation
- Role Deletion
- And More!

- Welcome System! (V3 Section 3)

Sends a Welcome Message and Card of your choice whenever somebody joins your server to a channel of your choice!

- Goodbye System! (V3 Section 3)

Sends a Goodbye Message of your choice whenever someone leave your server to a channel of your choice!

- Auto-Role System! (V3 Section 3)

Allows you to configure up to 10 roles to automatically give whenever someone joins a server!

- Anti-Invite System (V3 Section 2)

Allows you to block any invite from being sent in your server. You can also whitelist certain channels from this setting!

- ChatBot System (V3 Section 1)

Configure a ChatBot channel and have a fun chat with BrainBot!

- Announcement System Update (V3 Section 1)

Now, instead of the actual announcement showing up, users will still be able to use the command as expected but will also get a notification on the same interaction saying they have an alert to read. Users will then be able to read the alert using the /alert command

- Dashboard (Later This Month)

Configure BrainBot right at the tip of your fingers from a website! No need to use a bunch of commands to get 1 thing done, now, you can get everything done right from one place!

- Custom Command Name Size (V3 Section 1)

We have increased the custom command name size. Now, all custom command names can be up to 20 letters!

- Work Update (V3 Section 1)

Now, Users will be able to choose what they wish to work as, unlike before when BrainBot chose for you

- Poll Command Added (V3 Section 1)

Now, users can make a poll in any chat and have up to 10 options for people to choose from. Minimum of 2 is required

- Bot Wipe (V3 Section 1)

Due to a re-write of BrainBot, all data but Custom Command's and Warning's have been wiped from the bot

- Bug Fixes

There was an error being produced whenever BrainBot joins a server. This issue has been patched

- Updated Jobs

BrainBot has added the Bot Moderator button to the jobs command. Applications are not yet open but may open within the next few days

Version 2.7

Here are all the changes to Version 2.7

- User-Info Update

BrainBot was recently approved for the Presence Intent. Due to this, BrainBot can now display the status of the user (Online, Offline, DND, Idle) and display how many devices the user is currently on (Web, Desktop, Mobile). We have also added an Intent section to our Verified Bot's which will display the 3 privileged intent's.

- Bug Fixes

We have fixed a major amount of bugs that caused issues for all users

- Temp. Announcement Fix

User's have been complaining about the Announcement system. To solve this, we have made a temp. solution to this by sending a DM to the user with the new announcement when they use a command. Expect a whole new announcement system with the next version.

Version 2.6

Here are all the changes to Version 2.6

- 3 Second Time

Now, BrainBot will respond to you within 3 seconds or the interaction will fail. This is to add something called an ephemeral message. This makes it so messages are only visible to the user of the interaction, nobody else. Currently, the following messages will become an ephemeral message:

- Missing Permissions
- User/Server Bot Ban
- Command Cooldown

- New Presence

BrainBot will now have a new presence containing the amount of servers BrainBot's in along with our website

- New Custom Command Limit

Now, Users will be able to have 20 custom commands per servers, That is an increase of 5 custom commands from the previous 15 that were allowed

- New Links Command

/links will show you some of BrainBot's most important links such as the Bot Invite, Support Server and The Website

- Warning Before Contacting Staff

Now, Before users actually contact a Bot Moderator using the /contact-staff command, it will give users a warning prior to the use of the command explaining what the command does and what they are agreeing to when they are contacting a bot moderator

- Removal of Buttons Once Clicked

With the /roast command, after a user reacts with either button, instead of disabling the buttons, they will now disappear

- Emojify Command

This will allow you to turn any text provided into emojis

Version 2.5

Here are all the changes to Version 2.5

- Patches

There was a recent bug that removed the time limit on the daily command, this issue has been patched

- Autocomplete

Whenever using the /warn remove command, BrainBot will automatically list the 25 most recent warnings in that server and will autocomplete your Warning ID

- Roast Command

This command will send a random roast. Credits to max is cool#0009 for providing all the roasts
NOTE: Some of these roasts may be sensitive to some users hence, there will be a warning prior to using the command

- Custom Currency Coin

Now, Server Admins can now set their own currency coin in there server to anything of their choice using the /currency-logo set command! To reset it, just use the /currency-logo reset command!

Version 2.4.1

Here are all the changes to Version 2.4.1

- Patches

There was a recent bug that allowed users to gamble up to 1Mill+ Coins, this issue was patched.
With the User Info Context Menu, Verified bots would show up as non-verified bots. This issue was patched

- Announcement System

We have updated the way our announcement system functions. The Announcement system allows BrainBot Team Members
(People with the verified logo next to there name in the User Info Command / Have the BrainBot Team role in the Support Server)
To send official messages via the bot. Before, users would get a notification when using a command whenever there was a new announcement and would tell them to use a command to view that announcement.
Now, When there is a new announcement and you run a command, instead of actually running the command, it would send the entire announcement eliminating the /announcements read command. Once the announcement is read, the user can re-use the command and the announcement will no longer appear

Version 2.4

Bot Updates:

- Added Help Command

This will list every single root slash command along with Context Menu the bot has

- Finished the Entire Moderation System

The entire moderation system is officially complete! We offer banning, kicking, timeout, warning, unbanning and purge. Mute Commands were not added as they are not useful as Discord introduced the Timeout System

- Updated Custom Command Max Length to 12

- Added Avatar as a USER Context Menu

This will allow you to get a User's Avatar by right clicking there username

Website Updates:

- Added Discord Authentication to the Appeal Page

This is to prevent spam and abuse of the Appeal Page and to help us Identify User's

Version 2.6 Beta 1

Here are all the changes to Version 2.6 Beta 1. A Beta release means that this is still being tested and is not ready for a full release yet.
