IoT Brick – Modular IoT Platform for Sensors and Dataloggers

IoT Brick is a secure, modular IoT device and platform designed to connect sensors and dataloggers to digital applications. The starter kit provides tools, examples, and documentation to quickly develop IoT solutions without firmware development, allowing developers to focus on the application logic itself.

Key Features

  • Modular IoT architecture for rapid prototyping
  • Functional block-based programming, no firmware coding required
  • Secure device communication
  • Easy integration with a wide range of sensors and dataloggers
  • Edge computing capabilities for real-time data processing
  • Accelerates time to market for IoT applications

Typical Applications

IoT Brick can be used in multiple IoT scenarios, including:

  • Industrial monitoring and predictive maintenance
  • Structural health monitoring for buildings and infrastructure
  • Environmental sensing (air, water, temperature, vibration)
  • Smart infrastructure and IoT-enabled facilities
  • Data acquisition from sensors and dataloggers

Architecture

Sensors → IoT Brick → IoT Platform → Applications / Analytics / ERP

  • Sensors: energy meeters, environmental sensors, , any other sensor.
  • IoT Brick: modular device managing inputs/outputs via configurable functional blocks
  • IoT Platform: cloud or on-premises platform for data ingestion, storage, and analysis
  • Applications: dashboards, analytics, machine learning, ERP integration
