This PR adds persistence for user search settings using chrome.storage.sync.
Saved values:
Settings are restored when reopening the popup or restarting the browser.
Also cleaned up duplicate input handlers and ensured buttons still trigger startSearches correctly.
No changes to defaults in config.js.
