Issue
We did some testing with python 3.9.0 and ran into errors installing some dependencies.

.python-version(used by tools like pyenv) to a particular supported python versionTesting
We installed dependencies and ran one workflow with both 3.9.12 and 3.9.25. (Thanks @jcass11!)
